La felicidad es serenidad

La felicidad yace en el desarrollo de un ser interno fuerte, que ninguna tribulación o penuria pueda afectar. La felicidad para cualquiera, empieza con la posesión de la fortaleza para enfrentar y conquistar nuestras propias debilidades.



La felicidad es conseguir vivir serena en estados de dolor o sufrimiento
La serenidad no es estar a salvo de la tormenta, sino encontrar la paz en medio de ella.




Los retos que enfrentamos en la vida se pueden comparar con una alta montaña, que se levanta ante un alpinista. Para alguien que no se ha entrenado apropiadamente, cuyos músculos y reflejos son débiles y lentos, cada pulgada de la escalada estará llena de terror y dolor. Sin embargo, la misma escalada será un viaje emocionante para alguien que esté preparado, cuyas piernas y brazos hayan sido fortalecidos por el constante entrenamiento. Con cada paso que dé hacia delante y hacia arriba, aparecerán bellos y nuevos paisajes.

¿Cómo podemos llegar a obtener ese estado de no perturbación que implica la serenidad? Primero debemos hacernos responsables de nuestros pensamientos, ya que cada pensamiento genera una respuesta química positiva o negativa en nuestro cuerpo.

¿Generamos pensamientos que nos producen nervios y angustia? Lamentablemente sí y lo que es menos saludable todavía es que además de enfrascarnos en esos pensamientos perdemos la perspectiva y generalmente logramos sobredimensionar los problemas. El ser humano puede llegar a ser un emisor de pensamientos muy tóxicos. Tan tóxicos que pueden llegar a afectar su salud y su entorno tanto personal como laboral.

¿Entonces una forma de pensar positiva nos traerá una mejor salud? La respuesta es SÍ. Son abundantes los ejemplos de personas que superan muchas de sus dolencias con el solo hecho de tener una mejor actitud. La mejor actitud siempre nos hará ver el mejor lado de toda situación.

¿Un problema realmente se va a solucionar quejándose y girando en torno a él indefinidamente? La respuesta es NO. Es recomendable para tener serenidad ser proactivo. Y ser proactivo nos traerá serenidad, para ello hay que buscar una manera de accionar sobre los problemas y hacerlo.

Una vez actuamos sobre los inconvenientes, nos enfrentamos a ese hecho que suele incapacitarnos, detenernos y robarnos la paz que es: el miedo. Accionar nos hace sentir empoderados y asertivos. Por ende se disminuye la ansiedad y el miedo.

¿Qué nos lleva a pensar que no vamos a actuar de la mejor manera posible frente a un problema? El autoconcepto que tenemos de nosotros mismos. Y el autoconcepto proviene de la manera en que pensamos. Cuando detectamos este inconveniente es importante acudir a métodos o ejercicios que nos hagan pensar de una mejor manera. En la actualidad existen muchas técnicas que nos pueden ayudar con el tema de reprogramar nuestro pensamiento de tal modo que nos lleve a una mejor autoestima y por ende a sentir mayor confianza y serenidad.

Existen prácticas como la meditación y la relajación que nos ayudan a aquietar la mente y enfocarnos de manera calmada en nosotros mismos en un entorno de paz y pensamientos positivos, lo cual siempre será benéfico para nuestro ser integral. La clave de toda buena meditación es aprender a respirar. La esencia de la vida es el aire. Lo que nos mantiene vivos es el la entrada de oxígeno a nuestro cuerpo. ¿Cuántas veces no sentimos ante una situación difícil que literalmente “nos falta el aire”?

Normalmente no sabemos respirar. Y menos en este entorno actual de carreras y vida agitada que a veces parece que está por encima de nosotros mismos. Hay que hacer todo lo posible para respirar con calma.

Tomar 20 minutos diarios al día en un espacio de nuestra intimidad para cerrar los ojos, respirar de forma pausada, imaginarnos en un lugar agradable, reporta consecuencias positivas en nuestros pensamientos. Se ha llegado a afirmar incluso que después de dos o tres semanas de meditación continua, muchas personas manifiestan cambios positivos en su salud mental y física.

Para cumplir con los objetivos de estar más serenos, reprogramar nuestro pensamiento, mejorar la autoestima, encontramos en la actualidad muchos libros de ayuda, videos, audiolibros que nos pueden servir de soporte en el camino para hacer de nuestra existencia en este planeta un transcurrir más placentero.

La serenidad es ante todo una decisión, es una escogencia amorosa de permanecer calmado. Pueden existir montones de ayudas a nuestro alrededor. Dependerá de nosotros y de optar de una manera firme y clara por el bien que queremos para nosotros mismos, el hecho de traer un estado de mayor paz a nuestro alrededor. Nuestro transcurrir en la vida es breve. Optar por la serenidad es una elección de amor propio.
